Job Title: Fitter (2-Year Fixed Term Contract)

Working Hours / Shifts:

• Two-shift rotation: 06:30 – 15:00 / 15:00 – 23:30 (Includes early finish on Fridays)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Fitter for a 2-year Fixed Term Contract to join our production team. The successful candidate will play a key role in manufacturing parts to high-quality standards, adhering strictly to engineering drawings and meeting production and shipping deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, ensuring adherence to company welding specifications and procedures.
• Work accurately within defined tolerances on large-scale parts and equipment.
• Operate Oxygen and Acetylene equipment safely for cutting and heating processes.
• Perform defect removal and complete weld repairs as needed.
• Clean and dress welds (removing spatter and surface imperfections) post-completion.
• Safely lift, move, and position heavy components during assembly.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Recognized Fitter qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant fitting experience.
• Ability and willingness to work at heights.
• Flexibility to work the required shift patterns (06:30 – 15:00 / 15:00 – 23:30).
• Selection Process: Candidates must pass a practical skills test during the first round of recruitment.
